The hotel is very close to Temple Meads station. I could easily travel around and not worry about distances. The kids' facilities in reception are also nice. It has a play area with books and toys.
Parking and breakfast was expensive. The room was too hot, but air con wasnt effective. There was only one plug at the bedside.

The hotel's location is unbeatable. it's near the train station and also a short walk to the city center. the breakfast selection was very good. I especially liked the gluten-free options with clear labeling. i also appreciated the water filter on every floor. That was perfect for the hot weather
the hotel decor felt just a bit tired, and some minor things needed attention. for example, the tap in the bathroom was a little loose, it didn't negatively affect my stay much

Breakfast offered many options, including a continental selection and several hot dishes. the restaurant provided excellent food at reasonable prices. The menu was varied and well-prepared. gluten-free options were available and clearly marked, a big plus for me.

the staff were very helpful and accommodating. when i needed power at the bedhead, they changed my room without hesitation. i found the reception staff friendly, and they provided quick check-in service, much appreciated after a long journey.

the hotel is in a central area within walking distance of many attractions. i found it easy to walk everywhere from the hotel, including to the railway station. the hotel's proximity to the train station and the city center made it easy to explore.

the location was convenient near the train station. i could easily travel and return without distance worries. i found a park nearby, good for a picnic. the kids' area in reception had toys and books.
the fire alarm activated twice during the night due to a sauna issue. this disturbed my sleep and woke up other guests. i did not receive an apology at checkout. it was their fault so a review was needed

i found the location great for walking. the breakfast was lovely. i found the room very well equipped. it was a treat to have a comfortable room.
the room wasn't cleaned to a good standard. i saw obvious hairs left in the show basin. the rooms are outdated. they are in need of a lick of paint.
